ShaRhonda Knott-Dawson will lead a three-session workshop using an Afrocentric lens to understand the power of individuals’ and small groups’ influence in American campaigns and elections.  This course is for those interested in creating personal and systemic anti-racist strategies for the upcoming US election in November.of BRONDIHOUSE

 At the end of the course, participants will: 

  • Understand US federal, state, and local government structures and the best strategies to enact change. 

  • Case-Studies of individuals and small organizations, utilizing the strategy of elections and campaigning, led to:  (1) the end of slavery,  (2) the passing of the Civil Rights Bill and the “15 trillion dollar “ War on Poverty,”  and(3)  the creation of a national free breakfast and lunch program for students. 

  • Create clear and doable individual plans to fight against Project 2025 and Radical Conservative Policies.

This will be an online course. It will be held from 2 pm to 4:00 pm on Sunday, September 8th, Sunday, September 15th, and Sunday, September 22nd. 

The price is $250 and has limited space.
